I booked The Yellow Broom for a birthday lunch surprise for my husband. It was our first time coming, and the food was absolutely beautiful. I ordered seabass which was cooked to perfection. The staff were so attentive and polite. They even brought out a little birthday surprise of chocolates for my husband which was so lovely. We will be returning (a lot!). Thank you!

Had the most wonderful lunch yesterday Yellow Broom Restaurant.
Thank you so much to Russell and Nathalie for such a warm welcome and to the team for such lovely efficient service.
The three course Sunday menu was fabulous and excellent value and the wine list is superb.
Can't wait to go back to try the rest.
Will definately be making my way through the fabulous cocktail menu too.

My husband brought me here for Sunday lunch on my birthday, having driven past it for decades and saying I wanted to go! It is lovely inside, the Sunday lunch menu is limited, but the food was cooked beautifully, including the vegetables, which are often the part that lets it down.
Our main bugbear though was the lack of serving staff. After being served one drink, we were never asked if we wanted another and it was really hard to get anyone's attention, so we made do with the one drink and the jug of water on the table. The starter and main were served quickly, but we decided that we would ask for the dessert to go, as we would enjoy it more later.
This is where we really felt let down. It took a long time for anyone to ask if we wanted dessert, and when we did, we asked for it, together with the bill. And then we waited... We did try to get the attention of the servers, but they only appeared in our section occasionally and kept their heads down, avoiding all eye contact. It was 35 minutes before they brought the desserts, and still no sign of the bill. It was only cheesecake, so I'm guessing it was already made and ready to go!?
Anyway, after asking for the bill one more time, our request was then dealt with quite quickly, but this soured what otherwise would have been a nice day out.

We booked a special birthday lunch for our father for this afternoon. This was my first visit to The Yellow Broom and was very impressed. The restaurant itself was beautiful, all the staff were polite and very professional, and the food was simply first-class.
I had cod goujons with fries for my main and it was all perfectly cooked & prepared. As was my dessert (melted chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice-cream). Then the staff surprised my father with some Birthday Macaroons!
Overall, a great menu, and a first-class establishment! Would highly recommend The Yellow Broom. Thank you all so much for everything today!

Fabulous food and such a great venue. Very relaxed atmosphere... Fantastic for a special occasion .... I would have taken a food picture.... But it didn't stay in the plate long enough.... Not the venue to kick the plate clean, but I sure wanted to :-)

Took us over 3 weeks to arrange a viewing for our wedding venue as we had no proper replies to emails to arrange anything, chasing with phone calls etc. Finally viewed and then it took nearly a month to get the costings/T&Cs back, we then asked how to pay the deposit, firstly middle of February and then twice in March...
We still haven't heard a thing and have accepted that our wedding definitely won't be happening here as the response and customer service has been nothing more than shocking!

The Yellow Broom is the best restaurant in Cheshire by a very long way. The service, ambiance and food is levels above the very best Cheshire has to offer. Natalie and Russell ought to be proud of the immensely high standards they maintain.. Its breathtakingly Good.. can't wait to visit again soon

Gutted....we found this venue and always thought it would be perfect for a small wedding with great prices.
Myself and my parter have sent emails, left voicemails and called them on several occasions. no reply.
Weeks later my partner got an email (no reply to mine) asking us come the next morning at a certain time, due to having plans we could not attend so asked for a alternative date/time. AGAIN NO REPLY TO THIS....
Truly gutted to be honest. But if this is how they treat customers wanting to book a wedding I wonder how they treat you once they have your deposit for an actual wedding. a big red flag indeed.

A beautiful setting for a special occasion. We brought our wedding party here for afternoon tea the day before our wedding. It was the perfect place to start the celebrations. The staff were very professional and able to accommodate some of our guests‘ special dietary requirements. Thank you!
